Singer Professional Buttonhole for Vertical Needle zigzag machines |
While this is similar to the Singer Automatic Buttonholer for straight stitch, this one works with ZIGZAG machines. Rather than the attachment moving the fabric back and forth to create the zigzag stitch, the Professional Buttonholer is a smoother operation.
Those are beautiful— as good as new Bernina automatic, which I am not going to buy, because I have enough machines. I have a Singer Professional Buttonhole maker for slant shank (Touch n Sew). I tried it on the 404 and did not get good results. Should that be a match?
ReplyDeleteOn a different note, I have my mother’s 1965? Gold Touch n Sew but it hasn’t been used in 20 years and has been stored in a garage. Any chances I can get it to sew a worthy stitch?
